Young Authors Symposium—A special half-day workshop for 5th and 6th grade language arts students and their teachers held each fall. Sponsored by Mid-South Community College. Cost is $10 per student, and reservations are accepted beginning Sep. 1, 2008. Space is limited. Selected writings will be published in the annual Young Authors' Symposium anthology.
